Mustangs future bright

The Dallas Mustangs have a proud tradition on the AAU circuit. Over the years coach Tony Johnson has coached Byron Eaton, Gary Flowers, and Terrell Harris of Oklahoma State, Wesley Johnson of Iowa State, and Donald Sloan of Texas A&M to name just a few alums.

The 2006 17's Blue squad featured Anthony Randolph and D'walyn Roberts, while 17's White listed 2007 Rivals250 football prospects William Cole and James Kirkendoll.

Every year the Mustangs have talent and every year several from the program had to the college ranks. The class of 2007 and 2008 are strong but the sophomores in the class of 2009 are hard to miss.

Richland Hills 6-5 combo guard Nolan Dennis already reports offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Cincinnati, Indiana, Oklahoma State, and UT-Arlington. He is ranked the No. 2 prospect in Texas in the class of 2009 by TexasHoops.com and is coming off a breakout sophomore season.
