Scrimmage Insider Report: Young WRs come to play

In the first half scrimmage on Saturday, the wide receivers made their mark by being more physical and making several key blocks. On Monday, the same group made a lot of noise but this time it was by turning in several big plays.

More often that not, when there was a big play downfield there was a freshman or sophomore wide receiver on the receiving end. In fact, the four leading wideouts in the scrimmage, who accounted for over 85 percent of the receiving yards, were two freshmen and two sophomores.
