Defense thrives on offensive struggles.
It took the Tennessee offense an hour and twenty minutes into the scrimmage to find the endzone and it took no more than five minutes after the scrimmage for the quarterbacks and receivers to find the stadium steps.
It's safe to say the offensive coaching staff was not pleased with the lack of productivity in Saturday's final major scrimmage before next Saturday's Orange and White game to wrap spring practice up.
"I am not very pleased with it," offensive coordinator David Cutcliffe said of his offense. "It was a lack of intensity. It was a lack of execution and we took steps back. I am not very pleased at all."
