Taylor Jr. terrified opponents

Junior wing Jeff Taylor of Hobbs, N. Mex., is becoming one of the most heavily recruited players in the region. With interest from essentially every Big 12 school and several Pac-10 schools, to say that the 6-foot-6, 180-pound small forward is a wanted man would be an understatement.

In the recruiting game, as odd as it may seem, Taylor may even be underrated. Despite all the interest he has received, his remote location and the fact that this was his first year of basketball in America make him the perfect sleeper candidate. Though he is featured on the Rivals top 150 list for 2008, he does clock in as the last person on the list at number 150.
