Teams lining up for Philly DT

Last week, Blue White Illustrated spoke to Philadelphia (Pa.) Roman Catholic head coach Jim Murphy about safety prospect Nick Moody. While Moody is an intriguing prospect, he may not even be the player on the Roman roster that will receive the most attention from college coaches.

As a junior, defensive tackle Jewhan Edwards wreaked havoc on opposing offenses all season - commanding double teams and racking up tackles on his way to being named first team All-Catholic and honorable mention Class AAAA all-state.

Murphy said that the 6-2, 315-pound Edwards definitely has what it takes to be a star at the next level.
