For Gray, next stop South Bend

Cornerback Gary Gray, of Columbia, S.C., has had a remarkable high school football career at Richland Northeast High School where he developed into one of the nation's most coveted prospects. The 5-foot-10, 163-pounder capped his run through the prep ranks last weekend by participating in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas.

"It went pretty good," Gray said. "I met a lot of new people and made some new friends. I also learned some new techniques that I'll be able to use at the next level."

Gray turned in one of the game's top performances, often matched against national wide receiver prospect Terrance Toliver, who's likely bound for Florida or LSU.
