Evans takes in UNC game, leads team to win

RALEIGH, N.C. - Over the course of his time in North Carolina's Triangle this week, 2008 phenom Tyreke Evans has taken advantage of an opportunity to visit Chapel Hill, while also playing some solid basketball.

Evans' scoring was down in Friday night's contest, but he contributed in multiple ways in leading Aston (Pa.) American Christian to a 73-64 victory over King's Mountain (N.C.) Hope Christian.

"I think Tyreke has the ability, you guys probably have seen him before, to score 30 or 40 without issue. He's done that for us three or four times this year, but he's really, in his junior year, he wants to become a better basketball player. He was tremendous defensively tonight. He moved the basketball; he did the extra things; he scored if he had to, but he made plays," said Evans' coach, Tony Bergeron.
