Hoch continues solid beginning

The Nebraska coaching staff still has approximately six weeks to complete the 2006-2007 recruiting class and that class is looking strong. That has not stopped them from offering and receiving commitments for the next class. Three have already committed and one, Dan Hoch, was the last one to commit. His could be the key for many more.

Receiving the early commitment from Hoch gives the Huskers three verbals for a quick start to the 2007-2008 recruiting class. Hoch joins two instate prospects that have already decided - another offensive tackle (Baker Steinkuhler, 6-6, 275, 4.93) and arguably the best running back (Collins Okafor, 6-1, 205, 4.5) in the state of Nebraska. If the Nebraska coaching staff got verbals from the other two offered prospects - offensive guard Trevor Robinson, 6-5, 290, 5.2 and the versatile running back Ronnell Grixby - from the state of Nebraska, the start would be solid.
