Clay down to two
Four-star running back John Clay is back home in Wisconsin tonight after making an official visit to the University of Iowa this weekend. According to the 6-foot-0, 222-pound Clay, his first trip ever to Iowa City was a good one.
Clay's college decision now appears to be narrowed down to two schools now, as he will no longer visit Ohio State. The four-star running back, who visited Wisconsin on November 17, will decide between the Hawkeyes and the Badgers.
Clay hopes to make that decision by January 6, as he plans to announce his decision at the U.S. Army All American Game in San Antonio, Texas. The four-star prospect, who leaves for San Antonio on December 31, said he plans to take the next two weeks to weigh the pros and cons of each school.
Rivals.com ranks John Clay as the No. 7 running back in the nation and the No. 69 prospect overall, regardless of position. The four-star prospect is the No. 2 top player in the state of Wisconsin this year.
