Green will have another surgery

Penn State Class of 2007 commitment Stephfon Green caught an unexpected bad break as he went to bring down Brooklyn (N.Y.) South Shore quarterback David Legree in the first quarter of an Oct. 7 game.

"I was going to tackle him and my foot got caught in the ground," said Green, who would finish the game with 11 carries for 75 yards. "My ankle bent awkwardly. I didn't know it was broken until I went to the hospital after the game."

Until that point, the Bronx (N.Y.) John F. Kennedy star had solidified himself as one of the top high school players in the five boroughs.
