Little Animal picks up the Bronko

After studying all night long, James Laurinaitis made the flight from Charlotte back to Columbus this morning just in time for the last two finals of his Fall Quarter at Ohio State. The sophomore linebacker for nations No. 1 team was at the Charlotte Touchdown Club for the presentation of this year's Bronko Nagurksi Award.

The award is presented annually to the nation's best defensive player, and Monday Laurinaitis beat out Clemson defensive end Gaines Adams, Michigan cornerback Leon Hall, Ole Miss linebacker Patrick Willis and Florida safety Reggie Nelson to become the first sophomore to win the award in its 14-year history.
