Big night at the Davis home

Before you continue to read this article, ask yourself what did you do Monday night?

Luther Davis got to talk football with the all-time winningest coach in Division I-A football and LSU Head Coach Les Miles.

Beat that.

The 6-foot-3, 254-pound four-star defensive tackle out of West Monroe welcomed both head coaches into his house Monday night for in-home visits.

"It was definitely a busy night at our house Monday night," Davis said. "It was actually supposed to be even busier, but (Louisville Head Coach Bobby Petrino) had problems getting a flight and he had to reschedule for later on.

"I would say the closest we got to this previously when my older brother was being recruited. A lot of schools wanted him."
