Cole gets an NU surprise
Sunday was the first day coaches from across the country could make in-home visits with prospects and their families and one Nebraska assistant was in Cedar Hill, Texas to visit a current commit, along with a prospect the Husker coaches have in their sights. Wide receiver William Cole was the prospect and he appreciated being the first one contacted by a certain Husker assistant coach.
Coach Ted Gilmore stopped by to make an in-home visit with Cole after first stopping to see current Husker commit Anthony Blue. Cole and Blue's team is in the middle of a playoff run that could stretch to as late as Dec. 23. Blue plans to wait until after that time to make his official visits.
