Huskers list is bigger

It is looking like the Huskers are in for a big recruiting weekend and it appears to have gotten bigger. HuskersIllustrated.com has confirmed that a linebacker/fullback from southern California will be in for the game. He might be arriving late, but he should eventually make it to the game.

Due to recent losses, Santiago head coach Steve Mitchell has told his players to not do any interviews for awhile, but he was gracious enough to fill us in on what his star player, Ryan McCants, is up to over the next few weeks on the field and in recruiting.

Last year as a junior, McCants ended the season with 224 carries for 1,449 yards and 13 touchdowns. He added another 73 yards on three catches. On defense, he had 50 tackles and two sacks from his linebacker position. In the second game of this year, McCants showed his power and speed by rushing for over 200 yards and scoring three touchdowns.
