Gibson impressed with visit to Tuscaloosa

Rivals100 wide receiver Brandon Gibson has had Alabama at the top of his leaderboard since the beginning of the recruiting process. However, this weekend was the first time this year that the Mobile native has been able to make it to Tuscaloosa for a game, and it apparently was worth the wait, with Gibson giving the visit a big thumbs up.

"I got there a little later than we had planned but I got to talk to the coaches a few minutes before we went on the field. Coach (Mike) Shula came over and asked me how my season was going and told me to stay healthy. I wanted to make sure I knew they were still very interested in me as a playmaker. I told him that Alabama was at the top of my list and he understood," Gibson said. "We went out on the field and it's the first time I've been there since they finished the stadium and I was overwhelmed by what I saw. The stadium looks great and when I walked out on the field I was nervous and got chills. I could feel the excitement before the game and how special it was to play on the field.
