Panthers shoot down the Rockets

The Toledo Rockets came to Heinz Field on Saturday with hopes of repeating their upset of the Pitt Panthers three years ago, but one thing was glaringly clear: it's not 2003 anymore. And the Panthers made sure to emphasize that point early and often en route to a 45-3 victory. The win gives Pitt a 4-1 record as they get set for conference play.

"I don't care who you play or where you're playing," Pitt head coach Dave Wannstedt said after the game. "When you win a football game and do some good things you can never take it lightly. These games are not easy to come by."
