Reese wavering on commitment?

Joseph Reese, who measured 6-foot-2 and 187 pounds when he reported to practice last week and is rated as a four-star prospect by Rivals.com, gained over 600 yards rushing last season before missing the remainder of the season with a shoulder injury. He managed to recover in time to play basketball and qualified for the 200 meters at the state track meet in Austin.

He was also in a car accident earlier this summer with a friend when both were returning home from a summer job. Reese managed to avoid serious injury but emerged somewhat bruised from his ordeal, and it became natural for him to wonder how he would handle contact when fall workouts began in earnest.

Reese committed to Texas A&M in April after an unofficial visit to the College Station campus. Reese was told that if he committed, A&M would not recruit any other running backs and he was asked to refrain from any visits to other schools.

The visits didn't occur, but it doesn't mean they eventually won't. Reese continues to be recruited by several schools including TCU, Nebraska, Arizona, Oklahoma and Kansas, all of whom told him that they would not stop recruiting him when he committed to the Aggies.
