Ingram is ready for new season

Fonterrian Ingram, a 5-10, 185-pound safety from Atlanta, Ga., McNair, is excited for the start of his senior football season.


Ingram and the Mustangs began practice last week, and he feels that they have gotten off to a very promising start.


"Practice is going well," said Ingram. "Things are going smooth. We're not missing a beat."


Ingram is looking for one thing in particular out of his team during the 2006 season.


"Teamwork," he said simply.


"That's really it, and dedication from all the other players on the team."


Before he gets to Chapel Hill, Ingram is looking to improve in several areas, which will maximize his ability to make an immediate contribution when he gets to college.
