Vandy's latest commit impressed by Coach Logo
On Monday, the Vanderbilt football coaches received their seventh verbal commitment for the 2007 recruiting class when Collins Hill's T.J. Greenstone of Suwanee, Georgia contacted the 'Dores to give his pledge.
The 6-foot-2, 250 pound defensive tackle had visited the Vanderbilt campus twice this summer, participating in the Senior Elite Camp in June and then visiting again on July 27th.
Greenstone, who was All-County and All-Region last season for the 6-4 Collins Hill Eagles, says that it was new Commodore defensive line coach, Ricky Logo, that really made an impression on him and helped in his decision to commit.
"One of the main reasons was Coach Logo," Greenstone told VandySports.com on Tuesday night. "He just knows so much of the game and he's a great guy and can make me better, he just makes you want to play for him. He's already taught me a lot. He said as you get bigger and go through college and then the pros, you can't just expect to bull over people, you've got to learn technique and finess."
