Cali four-star DB plans Michigan visit

From three-year starter Leon Hall (Vista) to up-and-comers Johnny Sears (Fresno Edison) and Jonas Mouton (Venice), the Michigan defensive backs roster for 2006 is littered with successful ventures into the state of California.

Defensive coordinator Ron English, a California native, is back in the Golden State in 2007 targeting more defensive backfield talent from one of the country's most prolific high schools.

Six-foot, 175-pound Donovan Warren of Long Beach Poly is rated by Rivals.com as the No. 52 overall player in the country and the No. 6 cornerback.

The four-star prospect holds a Michigan offer and has reciprocated their interest, listing the Wolverines in his top seven that also includes Arizona State, Cal, Ohio State, Oregon, UCLA and USC.
