Benn to visit FSU in two weeks
Florida State has been trying for weeks to convince five-star wide receiver Arrelious Benn to visit the Tallahassee campus. And it looks like the effort has paid off.
"I'm taking a trip to FSU on the 10th and 11th (of August)," said Benn. "I'll get to see what the place is like and the facility and the coaches."
It had been rumored for some time that Notre Dame is the team to beat, but the Rivals100 member says he has no clear leader.
"It's FSU, Notre Dame, Maryland, and Illinois," said Benn. "That is my top four, they are all the same."
The 6-foot-2, 210-pound speedster from Dunbar (H.S.) in Washington, D.C., says FSU assistant coach John Lilly is one of the main reasons why FSU is a major player.
