Top Texas Juniors headed to Norman

Earlier this summer SoonerScoop.com had a headline about a bevy of 2008 talent descending upon Norman. Well, with all due respect to the attendees of Oklahoma's first summer camp, it's hard to imagine that there could be a better crop of juniors anywhere in the country than the foursome of Texans that will be arriving in Norman today.

The group will be arriving in Norman early Tuesday afternoon and returning home late Wednesday.

Led by the early favorite to be Texas' top prospect next year is Gilmer's Justin Johnson. The big running back/linebacker just completed his sophomore season and has already begun to draw comparisons to superstar Sooner running back Adrian Peterson.

He isn't the only Gilmer Buckeye who will be in attendance today and tomorrow as big offensive lineman David Snow makes his second trip to see Norman as both he and Johnson were part of the first camp session in Norman.
