Tate still expects an Irish offer
Golden Tate already owns scholarship offers from schools spread across the Southeastern Conference. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound athlete has also been hearing from another school that he thinks could be close to extending an offer.
"Notre Dame hasn't come through yet," he said. "They've been talking to me. I got a letter from them not too long ago. I think they are waiting for me to get on campus for them to offer. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go up there, probably as an official visit."
Several schools have already applied a full court press on Tate in the hopes of landing the do-everything athlete from Pope John Paul II High School.
"Ole Miss, Vandy, UT and Notre Dame is recruiting me pretty hard, I guess," he said. "Clemson and Florida are recruiting me pretty hard now."
