Garcia still naming two at the top
If things go as planned this week, when Tampa, Fla., Jefferson dual-threat quarterback Stephen Garcia reports for the EA SPORTS Elite 11 this weekend he will be in the overwhelming minority. Of the twelve signal callers at the event, he will be one of the two who remains uncommitted. According to the Rivals100 member, don't expect that to change anytime soon.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pounder sounds as though he is in no hurry to make an announcement.
When asked about the early commitments by his fellow campers, Garcia responded by saying; "I'm not feeling any pressure at all to commit. There's still a possibility I could graduate early, I haven't been thinking about it. I don't have a timetable for making my commitment."
Over the spring he made several unofficial visits including one to Columbia and a few trips over to Gainesville. And then roughly a month ago he combined a trip up north to see his brother with an unofficial visit to Boston College. However, since then other than a quick trip to hometown South Florida, he has decided to spend his time off the recruiting trail, instead working with his teammates.
