Four-star looking at visits

Four-star cornerback Donovan Warren (6-0, 175, 4.4) from Long Beach (Calif.) Poly will be one of the many headliners tomorrow (July 14th) who will be participating at the NIKE 7-on-7 passing championship to be held at Veterans Stadium at Long Beach City College.

Warren is an extreme talent who has the rare distinction of contributing for Poly since his sophomore season.

No wonder Warren is one of the most sought after cornerback prospects in the nation. He has track guy speed with a football player's mentality.

As a junior, Warren earned all-league, all-area, Student Sports junior All-American, all-state, all-CIF Division I and all-CIF all divisions as he racked 51 tackles in run support. The reason he didn't have any interceptions is the opposition played it smart and didn't throw to his man.

Now Warren is putting his attention on getting ready for his senior season.
"We are working hard," Warren said. "We are competing in passing leagues and working on team chemistry."

"I haven't decided on all of my official visits, but I think I'm going to visit Ohio State. I'm thinking of visiting Michigan, too.

Warren is a member of the Rivals.com Rivals100 landing as the Nation's No. 52 player at any position for the class of 2007. Rivals.com rates Warren as the Nation's No. 6 cornerback in the country for the class 2007.

Warren also made the Rivals.com California top 100 and is raked as the Golden State's No. 5 prospect at any position from the Golden State.
