Four-star QB will be in Auburn this weekend

Fort Smith, Ark., Northside four-star quarterback Kodi Burns has made it known that Auburn is one of the schools he's seriously considering signing with in February. This weekend, the 6-foot-2, 195-pounder plans to learn a lot more about the Tiger program as he and both of his parents plan to be on the Plains.

"I'm going to Auburn this weekend. I'm leaving Friday and I'm going to drive down with my parents," said Burns, who is rated the No. 9 dual-threat quarterback in the nation by Rivals.com. "It's a 10-hour drive so we're going to go down on Friday, stay the night and then get up Saturday and spend the day in Auburn.

"We'll probably stay Saturday night too and then get up Sunday and leave."

Auburn is hosting its final senior camp of the summer on Saturday, but Burns doesn't plan on participating. He's more interested in seeing the sights and sounds of Auburn as well as getting to know the Tiger coaches better including recruiting coach Hugh Nall and offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Al Borges.
