Talented QB set to visit KU
Coach Mark Mangino and the Kansas Jayhawks are beginning to build some momentum in terms of their recruiting efforts for this year. With five players from the class of 2007 on board, the coaching staff will get the opportunity to impress a player from the state of Kansas this weekend. This talented prospect, who has an offer from KU, will be in Lawrence this weekend for a visit.
Tysyn Hartman, the 6-foot-3, 191-pound dual-threat quarterback from Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School in Wichita, Kan., informed Jayhawk Slant that he and his father will be traveling to Lawrence this weekend for an unofficial visit.
As it stands right now, Hartman has just one scholarship offer, that coming from the Kansas Jayhawks. However, schools like Kansas State, Oklahoma and Purdue are very much in the mix.
