Session II brings bigger names

Session I is in the books and, as far as we know, no new offers have gone out which goes along with the BC coaches plans. Session II brings bigger names and some guys that the Eagles are hoping to impress while evaluating.


Local offensive lineman Chris Shannon will be at camp this week hoping to earn a BC offer. Shannon, out of Andover, Mass., Philips Academy, already has offers from Duke and Maryland but the feeling is that a BC offer might lead to a commitment. Fellow lineman Justin Sawicki is also expected at Session II.


More offensive linemen will be in town, if only for a day. T-Bob Hebert from Norcross, Ga., Greater Atlanta Christian will be on hand and BC really wants to recruit a true center this year. Offensive tackle Andrew Nuss from Ashburn, Va., Stone Bridge will also camp for a day. Both players already have offers so the Eagles are hoping to impress them. Pennsylvania guard Caleb Ruch will also be in.
