Camp visits begin for Shugarts

J. B. Shugarts is considered to be one of the top prospects in the country for the 2008 recruiting year, and the big offensive lineman from Klein is already very popular among college coaches. This weekend, Shugarts put his talents on display with a stop at a one-day camp at Texas A&M on Friday, and a showing at a Texas Longhorn mini-camp on Sunday.

The visits, Shugarts said, both went well and they're part of his plan to check out the schools that are on his early list as he tries to prepare for the decisions that lie ahead.

Up next, the 6-foot-7, 290-pound blue-chip will hit a camp at Michigan on June 19, and he'll immediately follow that trip up with a stop at Ohio State for another camp.
