Oglesby reacts to Rivals100 status

On Monday, Rivals.com released the year's first installment of the Rivals100 2007 . With its release, one Wisconsin commitment - Milwaukee St. Francis offensive tackle Josh Oglesby - made the prestigious list.

But Oglesby wasn't just a one player of 100. The 6-foot-7, 315-pound athlete cracked the top 10 in being named the nation's top prep offensive lineman with a No. 6 overall ranking.

BadgerBlitz.com caught up with Oglesby Monday afternoon to share the news.

"Wait. What? Really," Oglesby exclaimed, half questioning when the news of being the top O-lineman was delivered to him. "That's amazing."

"I think it's like a flattery and I definitely have to work that much harder to live up to that. I'm sure there a lot of people that deserved that title, so I need to work to make sure I assure that."

When Oglesby was told that he ranks as the nation's sixth best prospect a similar response ensued.

"Holy crap," the five-star prospect said. "That's amazing. I can't believe it. I don't even know how to respond to that. Thank you.

"I was actually pretty down today and now I'm glad. I'm definitely on a high right now. I think everything fails in comparison to that. I don't think anything like that has happened to me except scholarships and things like that."
