Louisiana's Blackwell is curious about the Vols

Wednesday night, West Monroe, La., defensive tackle Will Blackwell had his college football recruitment in perspective thanks to the rigors of preparing for high school calculus final.

Blackwell has seen plenty of college coaches this month, but right now, his focus is on finishing his junior year.

"Right now, I am just trying to finish up this year," Blackwell said. "I know I am going to do some one-day senior camps this summer, but I have not had time to think much about that. I have been busy with school and spring practice."

The 6-foot-4, 289 pound tackle, who labels himself as a run stopper, has plenty of college options these days as he sports offers from basically everyone in the Southeastern Conference as well as Notre Dame. Included in that list of offers is one from Tennessee, which is an offer that intrigues Blackwell.
