Inside the Tremendous 26

The state of Kentucky's Top 26 players gathered in Lexington on Mother's Day Sunday for a ceremony honoring their selection to the Kentucky Football Coaches' Association Tremendous 26 team. CardinalSports.com was there to meet the top recruits which included Male athlete Doug Beaumont, St. Xavier running back Victor Anderson, Central defensive end Joe Scott and Trinity quarterback Nick Petrino.

As they gathered Sunday morning, many of the players met each other for the first time. Event organizers Rich Sapper and Hank Kilander were pleased that all 26 of the top prospects in the state had arrived and were ready for the photo shoot.

West Virginia commitment Vic Anderson sat just a few feet away from Lexington's top prospect Chase Minnifield while linemen like Paris' Chase Dumphord met other prospects his size like Campbellsville's Justin Cox and Bowling Green's Stuart Hines. It was the first shot many of these players have had at meeting their counterparts from around the state.
