Fulmer pays visit to Palmetto State

Phillip Fulmer's worldwide tour of states in May continues as the head coach of the Vols continues to work the recruiting trail. On Wednesday, Fulmer spent part of is day in Georgia and in South Carolina. One of the stops in the Palmetto State was in Charleston, South Carolina where he paid a visit to talented defensive end Carlos Dunlap.

Dunlap is 6-foot-6, 240 pound defensive end from Dorchester High School in North Charleston, South Carolina. And Wednesday he worked out in front of the head coach at Tennessee.

"Coach Fulmer came by and watched me practice," Dunlap said. "It is pretty exciting to have coaches come and watch you during spring practice and to talk with them on the phone. I can already see that it is going to be pretty crazy this fall."

Dunlap who has offers from the Vols, South Carolina, Clemson, Auburn, and Florida said he is in no hurry to think about the decision making process.

"I am just trying to focus on getting ready for my senior season," Dunlap said. "I may try and take some visits during my senior year if things workout, but I don't know if I will be able to and at this point I don't know who I am going to visit."
