Crick's ready for summer

The other promising 2007 prospect who plays for Cozad (Neb.) High is defensive end and offensive tackle Jared Crick. With a 6-foot-6, 245-pound frame there's a good chance that he will draw an offer from the Husker staff this year. He's already been tendered offers by two Big 12 schools, and if he does well in his summer camp performances several more should follow suit.

In addition to Iowa State, Crick also sent his video tape to Nebraska, Texas, Baylor, Texas Tech, Iowa, Kansas and Kansas State. His first offer came from the Kansas Jayhawks after an unofficial visit to the Lawrence campus with some Cozad teammates.
