Williams talks about Ole Miss, Nike camp
One Ole Miss commitment saw his football career delayed last fall when Hurricane Katrina devastated the New Orleans area.
Alex Williams was forced to move to French Settlement, La., to go to school, a place that didn't offer the opportunity to continue his football career.
Did the year off the gridiron hurt Williams's chances of playing football at the next level?
While it's apparent that Williams has all the physical tools to play college football, it's also apparent that he has missed a year of weight training and conditioning that a bigger school often offers.
"No doubt, I got to get back to football playing shape," Williams said. "I'm back with Coach Lamothe and he will make sure I'm ready to go this fall."
