Miles does the job by sweeping in-state prospects
In his first full-time recruiting class, coach Les Miles is continuing the most vital part of the process for any LSU football coach. Nearly 20 years ago, the exodus of Louisiana players to schools out of state began. Running back Leroy Hoard, who played at St. Augustine High School in New Orleans, signed with Michigan. That decision started about a ten-year period in which the Tigers were unable to hold their own in the state.
