Breaking Down the Bulldog Infield for 2014

He's become a larger than life figure that will stretch through the annals of time at Mississippi State University. Standing 6'5 with a large 275-pound frame built by God as an SEC offensive lineman, Wes Rea took a different route and chose to play baseball for the Diamond Dawgs.

Rea is the cornerstone of a defensive infield that returns all but one big piece in the middle of the field in Adam Frazier. After declaring to the world a year ago that MSU would be in Omaha in 2013, Rea made good on that promise and even sealed it with huge plays down the stretch that will be long remembered by this crop of Bulldog fans. This season, the goal hasn't changed for the junior slugger.
