The Future: A look at the offense for 2014

Coming into the 2013 season, most people saw what the Bulldogs had to work with and projected a six or seven win season. MSU got to that seven win mark, but if fans would have known the adversity that the team would face when they looked at the schedule in August they might have guessed differently.

The Bulldogs went toe-to-toe with some of the nation's best only to fall short against Auburn, Alabama, LSU and Texas A&M in ball games that were attainable for at least the first three quarters. Dan Mullen has preached just how close his program was to great things for the last few years and this year was a prime example of just how close the Bulldogs are as they stack up with the rest of the league talent wise.
