Now that it's over: Alabama

Mississippi State again came into Saturday's game with a lot against them. The young team is incredibly beat up. The heart and soul of the offense, quarterback Dak Prescott, was ruled out for the game and Tyler Russell was getting the nod. On top of that big loss, Alabama was still Alabama and the number one team in all of the land.

The Crimson Tide is bidding for a National Championship and have a whole lot to lose but they didn't play like it offensively. The MSU defense played its most inspired game since Dan Mullen has been at the helm, but the Bulldogs' offense could do nothing to help them out and State dropped the game, 20-7 and lost their third-straight game.

For the second week in a row, Bulldog fans and players actually leave feeling better about their team than they did coming in. Of course, all of that hinges on if Prescott and Russell return from injuries this week as the Bulldogs can't afford a loss in either of the next two games. Now let's take a look at my three keys to victory from Saturday: Get on the Board Early, Get to McCarron and Force Mistakes and Capitalize.
