SPRING FOOTBALL: Brother reminds Max of himself
EAST LANSING - This season's edition of spring football has led to a unique situation at linebacker for Michigan State, with the development of the second of what will eventually be three Bullough brothers to have played at MSU.
Middle linebacker Max Bullough is back for his senior year, after earning All-Big Ten mention in each of the last two seasons. This time, his back-up will be his brother, redshirt-freshman Riley Bullough.
While Max has always maintained that he wouldn't coddle his younger brother's development in MSU's program, he did admit it was a nice situation having a brother rep under him the same position.
"He kind of reminds me of myself when I was his age, making the same mistakes, asking the same questions and having the same body language,'' Max said. "So it's fun. It will be more fun once we actually start playing. It's hard to tell when we don't have pads on.''
