Important time for Alabama DT

This spring and summer will not only be important for Garrett McElderry to develop before his senior season at Gadsden (Ala.) City High School.

It will also be pivotal time for the standout defensive tackle on the recruiting front as well as schools check in on his progress.

"Recruiting is going pretty good right now," McElderry said. "I'm hearing from some schools and I've gotten some information on them. They are planning on taking a look at me this spring and watching my spring game and some of our practices. I'm just hoping to get into a better place."
