Sullivan aims for better efficiency

AUBURN -- Frankie Sullivan is the Southeastern Conference's second-leading scorer, but that may not be enough as the Tigers open conference play Wednesday.

Two important guards, freshman Jordan Price and junior Chris Denson, are out indefinitely because of foot fractures. That has depleted the team's supply of guards and forced coach Tony Barbee to restructure his playing rotations.

Everything worked last time out. Even without Price and Denson, the Tigers beat Florida State by six points last week.

Still, Sullivan says he feels pressure to conform his game to what the Tigers need.

"I'll stop taking as many threes and I'll be driving the ball more, getting to the foul line," Sullivan said. "It's not all about me. With Josh (Wallace) distributing the ball like he did (against FSU), it's going to make it a lot easier for me. I got a lot of open shots I don't usually get because of Josh's passing. That's going to help us out a lot."
