Brice, a 6-foot-1, 178-pound cornerback from Ruston, La., will visit Ole Miss Friday. A decision is expected shortly after he returns home to north central Louisiana.

"I'm close to my decision," Brice said, "and I'm very ready so a lot of stress can be taken off me."

Brice, who has been listed as committed to Missouri, Louisiana Tech and Oregon State at different times during the process, said Wednesday Ole Miss is his leader, adding the Rebels "stand very well" in a final mix that includes the Beavers and Tigers.

Ole Miss, Brice said, has "a great atmosphere, nice coaches, good academics and friendly people." Ole Miss defensive coordinator Dave Wommack, Brice said, has told him he "fits in well how they run their defense and the scheme of things. …I do expect to contribute as a true freshman and I'm training now for the speed and strength of the college level."
