K-State comes up short in Cotton

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Successfully avoiding mistakes is one of the primary reasons Kansas State won 10 games during the 2011 regular football season. Making too many mistakes is the primary reason the Wildcats lost the Cotton Bowl to Arkansas. After a very slow start offensively, with several dropped passes, a turnover and failure to establish any rhythm, K-State found itself in too big a hole to overcome in a 29-16 loss at Cowboys Stadium. K-State ends its surprising season with a 10-3 record.
