Depth chart recap: Receivers and Tight Ends
Florida wide receivers and tight ends combined to catch 108 passes for 1,618 and six touchdowns this season. In some parts of the country, that's a great season for ONE player, but not an entire receiving corps. To be fair to UF's pass catchers, the offensive line has to block and the quarterback has to make a good throw in order for them to get the ball, and those two things were far from automatic for the Gators this year. Offensive coordinator Charlie Weis was supposed to come in and install a downfield passing attack that also made use of the tight ends -- never happened.
