Dyer in need of more carries

Michael Dyer rushed for more than 1,000 yards last season. He broke the Auburn freshman rushing record. He was named the 2010 BCS National Title Game MVP.

Through three games this season, the sophomore is averaging 7.5 yards per carry and 119.3 yards and two touchdowns per game. Dyer has rushed for at least 150 yards in each of the Tigers' last two games.

He's done it all this season by getting an average of just 16 carries per game.

That's not enough, according to offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn....
