Kelly returns from SU

In Syracuse this weekend there were many football prospects, but in the class of 2012 there was none bigger than Chad Kelly who made a trip back to Syracuse.

"The visit was awesome, The trip is at the top of all the trips I took with a few others."

On the visit he was unable to talk with the coaches and he did miss that.

"What I missed on this trip was just spending time with the coaches they're so cool I like them a lot."

Since he was unable to speak to any of the coaches he missed out on talking with Nathaniel Hackett who has established a relationship with.

"When I take visits to Syracuse what really sticks out is Coach Hackett, he's so funny. He's just like me outgoing, plus the players we're so cool also."

Not only is his relationship great with Hackett, but the whole staff as well.

"My relationship with Syracuse just went up. Meeting all the coaches plus Coach [Doug] Marrone is that coach that tells it how it is I like that a lot."

Clemson and Florida State have been talked about as leaders for Kelly, so with the Orange in his top seven what does he think of them?

"They're definitely right up there after that visit. Like I said the trip was at the top with a few others they're definitely in the top tier of the seven."

Besides the trip to Syracuse this weekend he has more trips planned.

"My upcoming visits are to Alabama and Clemson, which is next week."

This summer the young gunslinger is working on his game to improve much more on the field and to show his uncle he is not the only top flight quarterback in the family.

"My summer workouts are lifting agility all that would make me a better quarterback watching film a ton."

Also happening this summer for Kelly will be his decision on his college and that is only a couple weeks away.

"My decision will be by the end of June."

After Kelly makes that decision he will shut down his recruitment.
