Five key questions about Missouri

Vanderbilt faces a ranked Missouri team on Wednesday in Columbia, as the Tigers will try to avenge last year's defeat at the hands of the Commodores. As part of our pre-game coverage,'s Chris Lee asked publisher Gabe DeArmond five key questions about the upcoming match-up.

"Missouri was a consensus top-20 team by everyone coming into this season, but the Tigers have only played one game you could classify as "difficult" so far. In light of that, what have we learned about the Tigers so far?"

"Oddly, I think we learned more about Mizzou in its one loss than in all of its wins combined. Like you said, the schedule hasn't exactly featured a bunch of heavyweights. But against Georgetown, the Hoyas played virtually perfect basketball (at one point late in the first half they were shooting 82%, they hit 15 3s in the game and had three players with 21 points or more) and still needed overtime to beat the Tigers.
