Mississippi State's backcourt will have a new feel to it this season with the graduation of Barry Stewart at shooting guard and point guard Dee Bost missing the first chunk of the season on suspension.
The only constant in the starting rotation the Bulldogs will have from the guard spot will be senior wing Ravern Johnson leaving several roles left to be filled from first time starters.
Johnson is MSU's leading returning scorer from a year ago. The 6-foot-7, 175-pounder averaged 13.2 points per game and shot 40.7-percent from behind the arc in 2009-10 starting 36 games. For his career Johnson has appeared in 100 games earning 69 starts and averaging 9.7 points an outing.
