Jones' first play a dream come true
MINNEAPOLIS-Tony Jones' first college play couldn't have gone much better. The freshman wide receiver couldn't have imagined a much better scenario if he were daydreaming in his dorm room.
He entered the game on Northwestern's fourth play of the game, with the Wildcats on their own 45-yard line. He heard quarterback Dan Persa call an "X-post," which meant that the 6-foot, 180-pound speedster from Grand Blanc (Mich.) was going to get the ball.
